Dollars For The Drive-In!
Within the next year, classic 35mm film format will become obsolete as movie studios transition to digital technology. In fact, within the next year, feature films will no longer be available in 35mm. For Park Place Drive-in, going digital requires a total renovation to a sophisticated computer projection system costing in excess of $100,000. With this system, we can continue to offer current movie features. Without the system, we will not be able to afford to remain open.Because of the high cost of continuing to operate, we are fully committed to an all-out drive to raise the necessary funds for this system. As we begin our efforts, we are asking you to join us in the, “Dollars for the Drive-In” campaign. We want to make it easy for you to contribute so we have two ways for you to help.
